Brenda Childs was a renowned Austin painter, illustrator and interior decorator who enjoyed immense popularity in Texas. A graduate of McCallum High School, she studied art at the Ringling College of Art and Design in Florida and started exhibiting her artwork regularly in 1963. She passed away in 2008 but her art lives on in the galleries, homes and hearts of many people across the country.

Dripping Springs, TX (December 22, 2012) – renowned artist Polsky Morgan's gallery inventory is open to the public for sale. Proceeds to benefit the RSDSA, a viewing can only be arranged by appointment from January 2-15, 2013.

The exhibit will include oil on canvas works with themes ranging from football, tennis, water sports, dance, portraits, clowns, cowboys to landscapes. A limited number of unframed, original pastels as well as limited edition series prints are also available for viewing and purchase.*

Brenda “Polsky Morgan” Childs was a renowned Austin painter, illustrator and interior decorator who enjoyed immense popularity in Texas. She specialized in paintings, illustrations, animations, portraits and interior design. Subjects included clowns, cowboys, longhorns, the University of Texas, Native Americans, dancers, architecture, children, families, religion, as well as many different sports such as football, basketball, tennis, soccer, rodeo and water sports.

A graduate of McCallum High School, she studied art at the Ringling College of Art and Design in Florida and started exhibiting her artwork regularly in 1963. She passed away in 2008 but her art lives on in the galleries, homes and hearts of many people across the country.
